I have a very large back yard in Maryland, which I haven't been able to do anything with this summer, but now I have time. Is it to late in the year to plant any kind of vegetables?

  1. You can plant cauliflower, any short season crop, and lettuce, radishes, carrots, greens and also start planning your plot for next season and get the soil turned over and ready for spring.

  2. You can plant cool season veggies, such as lettuces, radishes, carrots.  These veggies actually have a better flavor in the fall.  Lettuce and radish can be harvested in about 30 days.  You can harvest carrots well into winter!  Enjoy your homegrown goodies!
