To make it into television acting?

To make it into television acting do you necessarily need to be able to sing well?

Not necessarily, but it would be a plus if you could.

I have a few friends who auditioned for a few films and shows and were asked to sing a song they knew.

I honestly think if you're considering having singing lessons, go for it because you won't only know how to act but you can sing too!

But if you don't want to, them don't because not all television actors can sing.

But remember, everybody has a voice.

Not at all. Many actors do not sing.
