Ok you only need is one! Why on earth would you want more then one anyway?? More credit cards means more bills to pay! And if you can't keep up with all thos bills then you can end up with bad credit , like most people in america today what they have to go trew. So listen to me! Just stick with one and deal with it. Even if your making lots of money! Still you just only need one.

one is one too many,gotten by for 46 years,have 3 kids and a wife for 16 years,and never ONCE had a credit card.my credit is near perfect(5.12%apr on a home equity loan 2 months ago)

NEVER buy what you can't afford,get a simple debit card,and use it wisely.debt enslaves you .that's what they want!!

It depends on how many you need, and your capacity to pay. I currently have two, however I'm in the process of paying them out, and will close one of those accounts. I would be unable to afford the repayments on a third card, make 3 too many for me.

anything over 4 is not good as far as credit goes. but as long as you keep getting higher credit limits keep the oldest card and close the others. Make sure when you call to cancel that they put on creit report closed by account holder.

WHAT I DID IS GET A LINE OF EQUITY OF ONLY 10 THOUSAND FROM MY HOUSE AND USE THAT FOR AN ALL PURPOSE CARD.

YOU DONT NEED THOUSANDS OF CARDS TO SHOW CREDIT WORTHINESS.

IF ANYTHING, IT WILL LOWER YOUR CREDIT SCORE AND WILL AFFECT YOUR ABILITY TO GET A GOOD DEAL..........SAY........ON BUYING A CAR .....OR A HOUSE.

ONE CREDIT CARD WILL ALSO HELP YOU PAY ONLY ONE BILL PER MONTH.

BUT EACH PERSON NEEDS TO DECIDE THIS FOR THEMSELVES.

One, one is too many. Sorry, I don't like credit; I like to pay cash which means no interest which means I get it cheaper.
