Did you experience spotting thoughout your pregnancy before you miscarried or only when you began to miscarry? Also had you seen the heartbeat on a previous ultrasound?

Thanks and I am sorry for your losses :(

  1. I spotted a little just before I miscarried (I've miscarried twice).  The second one I was far enough along to hear the heartbeat - I never made it past twelve weeks.  That said, I also spotted a bit with my most recent pregnancy - but this time I got a great little boy - he erases most of the sadness of the losses.

  2. A bit of spotting and yes, I did see a heart beat. The next ultra sound there was no heartbeat.

    Embryo was about 6 weeks.

  3. I have miscarried 3 times and all 3 times i did experience spotting cramping and then the bleeding. i didnt get to see the heart beat on any of them i was only about 6-8 weeks when i lost them.

  4. Hi. When I miscarried I had experienced no spotting, no pain, no cramping nothing. I went to the doctor for the first ultrasound and found nothing at all. And when the doctor removed the vaginal wand, it had blood on it. That was our first sign. I carried on bleeding for the next few days and it was all over. Strangely very little pain. Ive had period worse than that. But it was more of an emotional and mental pain.

With this pregnancy, as soon as we saw a heartbeat we were told that the chances of miscarriage was cut dramatically. the next milestone was 12 weeks. My doctor told me that 95% of pregnancies that make it beyond 12 weeks are successful. So it seemed like there were all these little milestones. We had a few scares along the way because I experienced bleeding at 8 weeks and 12 weeks.

BUT my doctor said, with each new development such as, seeing the heartbeat on the monitor for the first time, the chance of miscarriage drops.

Spotting doesnt automatically indicate miscarriage though. This baby is living proof. So if you are spotting, dont lose hope just yet. I hope everything is okay

  5. I had no spotting untill I was expeling the baby.

On one of mine we saw an ultra sound and the hart beat then latter that day I lost my mucus plug.  I went back the next day and the baby did not make it.

  6. i had no signs when i had a misscarage not that i noticed before i actually bleed anyways ( after i thought about it i had lost my appitite) i was four months pregnant when this happened.

with my last pregnancy i had spots and once right after making love i had alot of blood (it was still pink though)

if your concerned always go to the doctor it puts your mind at ease and nothing is worse then extra stress while pregnant

    best of luck

  7. no spotting with my miscarriage.  My son had died a few months prior to actually delivering him.  I had seen his heartbeat and watched his little hand just a waving around, they say he died the next day probably.  I like to think he was waving to me before he left me.

  8. no i had no symptoms - i had a missed miscarriage. i went for my 12 week scan to be told my baby had died at 9 weeks - no bleeding, no cramping, nothing. i had not seen the heartbeat, but i know the baby grew to 9 weeks then just stopped growing.

  9. i had no spotting prior to the miscarriage. i did see the heartbead as well as the tadpole on the ultrasound. i miscarried 2 times and both were at 12 weeks

  10. Everyone and every circumstance is different.  If you think you might possibly be in any danger of miscarrying you need to see your doctor immediately.  Call and talk to your Dr. or his nurse and discuss any issues or concerns that you have.  And yes it is possible to hear the heartbeat and see a moving baby before you miscarry.  Please see or talk to your OBGYN ASAP.  I hope that everything is ok, but just know that in most cases you would still be able to conceive again.  I miscarried 3 years ago and also celebrated my son's first birthday last month.  Best wishes to you and your baby.
