I am aware you call African Americans Akata, but I want to know what is the definition. In other words we are African Americans and you are Nigerians, Eboes, etc. We call you by the name you claim. However, you have designated the term Akata as our nationality. So, what is your definition of the word? Is it a word similar to ******, or cotton picker or what? What does the word mean?

Ibo or Igbo is the correct spelling.  Not Eboe.

Well "akata" in our term is just a nickname for blacks.

At least thats what my mom says they call African Americans in her country.
