  4. I read the article and there is no proof that she really wanted books banned. The librarian wouldn't even comment.  You guys stretch the truth and bend it to fit your mold and then the truth comes out and you look like morons.

  5. This is the most damning information about Palin yet.  Thanks for posting.

  6. I just read the article I guess I didn't read what your read.

The youtube is same old youtube c**p, I pay NO attention to that c**p!

If you think city employees don't get fired you live in a Fantasy world!

What was the reason they got canned?

Maybe they WEREN'T doing their jobs.

    Something to think about huh.

  7. Yes I read that too. I thought she was awesome at first but I'm not sure now.  I am beginning to think she is a not so nice lady and that's too bad.

Below is the source on the library book stuff and other stuff about her too.

  8. Palin is an imbecile...no wonder her daughter is pregnant.

Mom has 5 kids...Bristol is getting her freak on like her momma.

  9. Uh no. Doesn't bother me at all, in fact I support this. As for the rest of the trash talk it's all the left has been doing. You people have hit such a new low these past few days I don't think I'll ever see you all the same way again, sad lot of you. Let me warn you tho- this is all going to backfire!

  10. Everyone has enemies.

This story is based on only 2 sources, with no letters or other hard evidence.

    it will go away.

But I do support censorship to some extent.  Hustler and Playboy shouldn't be in the kids section of my  local public library.

And I think most americans would support that!

  11. From what I understand some of Palin's constituents were upset about a few books that had rough language in it.  Palin was representing her constituents, so, no, doesn't bother me.

  12. The librarian, Mary Ellen Emmons, pledged to “resist all efforts at censorship,” Ms. Kilkenny recalled. Ms. Palin fired Ms. Emmons shortly after taking office but changed course after residents made a strong show of support. Ms. Emmons, who left her job and Wasilla a couple of years later, declined to comment for this article.

How come the Librarian declined to comment if she was such a fighter of censorship?  You would think she would want to say something now, right? Besides, nothing ever came of it.  AFTER she did all the stuff you pointed out she was RE-ELECTED by a large margin.  Obviously the people didn't have a problem with her.

  13. No, now come on,,, considering your source is the NYT, do you really expect anyone to believe it? They are no better than the national inquirer,,, LOL! I cannot believe how afraid of this lady you guys are,,, OMG! We hit the jack pot! I love it!

  14. Yes, it does. I know she's not perfect. I hate book banning, but let's not pretend it doesn't happen on the left. How long would a book on "How to turn your g*y child straight" last in a San Francisco library?

    >>i know its cliche but every time i think of banning books i think of n**i book burning...<<

As do I, which I why I find it so ironic when groups, many on the left, seek to ban n**i/neo-n**i literature.
