I'm in a group where a few of the people don't appreciate good literature and seem to only enjoy fluff. Should I find another group?

  1. I think the only thing that matters when you read is how entertaining it is to you specifiacally.  So fluff might sometimes have a good story line.  If you don't enjoy anything you're reading in your group I reccomend you switch

Personally I love reading anything I can get my hands on (with the exception of tacky romance novels and basic reading levels.)

It's really fun when one day you're reading about teen vampire romances (twilight), the next a military attempt to overthrow the president (seven days in may), to the classic and vivid Jane Eyre.

I want to read it all and there simply isn't enough time!

    Good Luck!

  2. Most groups have people like that.  Often people join a book group primarily for the social interaction, not for the books.  You might check at your local bookstore for a more serious group, but almost all groups have this problem to some extent.
