To people who dont like Soccer, why is that .?

Is it the fans, the players the game.

Im just wondering , Yesterday i went to a Soccer game, America v.s Morelia , heard of them.

I Have been to couple Soccer games and each time , i love and enjoy the Atmosphere of the fans, how they cheer and have a Passion for the game.

Soccer in general is not easy as it looks, people say it looks "easy" and boring, nut you try and run for about 90 mins and in the hot sun and cold. Try and have control of the ball, and defend at the same time, and while your doing that have comunication , if you dont have that everything goes wrong, and to make a goal .

Before you judge a sport or something i recomend , you try it.

It is too slow, for me.  I have played.  Outdoor and indoor, and I must say it is much more fun playing.  Watching it though ranks up there with Golf, tennis and fishing.  Way too slow for my blood, but it is a great sport non the less.  The slowness is probably why it hasn't taken off in the USA like investors had hoped.  They have lost hundreds of millions since 1995 and that could be why David Beckham was brought in.  With Beckham they might believe he'll draw attention to the sport.  Is it working?  nope still too slow for me.

i dont really like watching it, its boring! but playing it is alright apart from if a boy kicks it and it hits you it cany well hurts!

I don't like soccer.. yeah people say its hard and i bet it is.. but i don't consider it a sport because everyone can do it.. i call it a recreational activity. not everyone can play basketball or football or cheerlead etc. and so i consider those sports.

The only thing people (mostly in America) might not like soccer is because it can at times be boring. I am a soccer player and have played since I could walk, and at times watching a game, find it to be a little boring. But thats just the game. I still love it.

And I do hate it when people say its easy. Soccer is, I believe, one of the hardest sports to play along with hockey, gymnastics, and water polo. I'm a goalie, and thats just about the hardest postition in any sport. It is surely not easy, and takes a great toll on you, mentally and physically. People do need to play soccer before they say it is the easiest sport to play, because it's definatley not.

to me its not one of the great american sports like baseball or football. its european. i dont even know of any american teams so theres no one to route for when watching it.

anyway, my favorite sports are football and hockey. the more physical the better.

p.s. the knee socks are a real turn off! (im just kidding, lol)

I played soccer when i was little, and liked it, but like pro soccer and stuff is really complicated, like i don't even understand all of the rules, and international soccer... man i hate the anouncer's accent.

I have played soccer, and I am so bad! It is hard to play and master, unless you can Bend it Like Beckham. I played soccer until I was 10 through the park district, and wanted to do flag football. I liked that but the next stop was tackle and I didn't want to do that so I came back for one more year of soccer at age 12. That season was not enjoyable, as I was so bad, and these two players continuously got mad at me, thus, I stopped playing, and focused on baseball. Soccer was not fun as it got more serious.

I watch the World Cup a lot but that's it for soccer. I need more action in a game, like hockey. But I understand why people like soccer, and the fans are pretty crazy.

I like NASCAR, and I have the same problem, living up north. People say that NASCAR is only left turns. Yeah, well, you need durability, endurance, and skill to do any good in NASCAR. I hate how people assume without trying!

I enjoy watching Soccer & Rugby. I think the lack of interest is that not too many people go to see the games. You are so right, neither game is easy. Actually both are just as rough as football and can be worse because the players do not wear a lot of equipment. I live in Ohio and there are several Soccer & Rugby leagues here.
