  1. You just haven't hit your growth spurt yet, but it will happen.  In 7th grade I was one of the smallest in my class (I didn't let people carry me around and all that though) but in 9th grade I was suddenly one of the tallest.  Just be patient.

  2. when I was 13 I was 68 pounds I don't know how tall probably the same height as you. But I 22 now and still growing I just hit 5 foot 3 inches. You are normal for you but if you want to feel taller wear high heels and clogs that make you look taller. That what I did. Good Luck.

  3. ..just enjoy your life being a 13th yr old...don't bother u'r self much about your height as long as you have a lot of friends with you and just be u'r self..there's nothing wrong with being small...

  4. You are probably so sick and tired of hearing that you just have to accept that you are petite! The truth is, however, accepting who you are and what you look like, be it short, tall, fat, skinny, is one of the toughest parts of growing up and often times, there is nothing you can do to change the genes you've been given.  From a family with  a lot of small people, some women are 4'9", some men are 5'2", I speak from experience. All of them are grown adults and all of them have found ways in which they made their petite stature work for them. Gymnastics for some, acting for others. One has had great success in television producing and a couple have become teachers and administrators.  What I'm saying is this: your height will not define who you are unless you allow it to. You can do or be practically anything you choose. Maybe you'll never win a high jump contest, but it is the person you are on the inside people want to see, if you allow them.  I promise you, if you take your size less seriously, aside from the occasional jerk (and there are always jerks!), your friends will follow your lead. Don't pay attention to your height, don't talk about it except with those who are very close to you, done reply to people about being sooooo cute and by all means, don't allow them to carry you around. Who you are inside determines your strength - not a measuring stick. Good luck in 8th grade!

  5. Don't worry, when I was in 8th grade (13) I was only 4'8" and 64 pounds.  I am petite.  (Plus, I've grown up not with genetics as you have, but with a growth stunting illness and medication).  But it sounds to me as if you are just this way.
