  1. spray

  2. It is used to protect your health. Meta-N,N-diethyl toluamide, abbreviated DEET, is an insect-repellent chemical. It is intended to be applied to the skin or to clothing, and is primarily used to protect against insect bites. In particular, DEET protects against tick bites (which transmit Lyme disease) and mosquito bites (which transmit dengue fever, West Nile virus, Eastern Equine Encephalitis, and malaria.

DEET is believed to work by blocking insect receptors (notably those which detect carbon dioxide and lactic acid) which are used to locate hosts. DEET effectively "blinds" the insect's senses so the biting/feeding instinct is not triggered by humans or animals which produce these chemicals.

  3. Not necessary at all!!! I'ved travelled twice from Peru to Brazil and experts say it is not necesarry. However, airlines do tend to spray as it is airline policy. I was once even sprayed while flying from Santiago to Montevideo! Experts say that that little spray will do nothing to prevent real dangers. And there are no real pollution dangers when flying. However I do recommned the yellow fever vaccine from Peru to Brazil, that's effective.

  4. what is deet? I am offended!

  5. what the heck! what spray is it! tell me by chose a best answer and ill know if you tell me ok. good luck!
