Some of the countries have problems of poverty, hunger, and AIDS. Sometimes each problem is overlaping other. Leagalizing, [and making medical checks compulsory], of prostitutions, will cure some of the problems of these countries. Frankness [not hypocracy], will be appreciated.

  1. I think, to stop AIDS this is Not a right step, Because Prostitution itself is a social problem and prostitutes still Not treated like a general public. To reduce a problem it is Not ought to increase another problem. We should increase awareness by campaign

  2. Not enough people use prostitutes for it to make a huge difference . and s*x is not the only way HIV is spread.

I'm all for legalized prostitution . but not for that reason.

  3. I think the prostitutes are the least of worries when it comes to AIDS.  Most know how to prevent the spread and take care of themselves.

  4. It theory, it should work, however, as is often the case, things often play out differently than they were intended. If you legalize it, than you may inadvertently promote it. Although your intentions are to promote healthiness, people will see it as being "OK" to do.

There are historical examples of similar situations occurring. For example, in theory, communism is supposed to be the best government system out there, and without a dictator, but we all know that it didn't go out that way in Russia.

  5. Why you want to stop AIDS. Don't you know many poor countries depend on AIDS they get from developed/rich countries.

Now, if the AIDS they have been getting has become a health hazard, they have to live with it. Why blame prostitutes for it?

  6. Well it wouldn't stop AIDS may curb it though, but no i don't think so, safe s*x, don't reuse needles, that will stop AIDS.  AIDS is spread by more than just prostitution.  oh and that guy is a idiot, marijuana is a victimless crime, never od'ed after smoking a couple joints.

  7. I do think prostitution should be legalized, saying this I don't think it will stop aids, as you will find that a fair number of street-walkers do practice safe s*x. The only way to reduce the spread of aids is research and education.

  8. AIDS is diff. from prostitution. Regularisation can not stop AIDS.

    It is not profession.

  9. The constitution of the United States is supposed to protect the self-evident rights of human beings created by God from the tyranny of government. The constitution was designed for a people self-governed by Christian morality. The sovereign unit of government was the family, and states enacted laws to protect the family from sexual practises that threatened the family.
