    so to increase the energy while keeping the voltage constant, you have to increase the capacitance.

    C = (k)(c)A/d

    where A is the plate area, d is the distance between the plates, and c is the dielectric constant of the material between the plates.

    So increase c and/or A, and/or decrease d.
