To summon a synchro monster do they levels have to be exactly the same or can they be more??

no its like ritual monsters where you can use more if needed.

since the syncro monsters can only be summoned by tuner monster there levels are hardly ever going to equal perfectly.

examples are tune warrier is a 3 star monster.

and lets say colossuly fighter wich is a 8 star monster.

you would need tune warrior plus a five star monster or two three wich would equal six wich wold give you nine total. wich is over the limit but gives you the required 8 stars.

Hello. The monsters' Levels you use for the Synchro Summon must be the exact Level of the corresponding Synchro Monster.
