To surprise or not to surprise?

My boyfriend is returning from India/California and it will be the first time I have seen him after 3 months. He returns in the evening, so do I cook dinner for him or do we go out to eat?

It's more romantic if you cook for him, prepare the evening, have a candle light dinner and dress up a s**y outfit.

definatley cook dinner.. you can be alone and it is caring and he WILL notice but if you suck at cooking then go out to eat

I'd say cook but it really depends on him- he may be tired anyway from traveling and want to stay in- but he may want to get out and back to regular life! so, maybe have everything ready to make a dinner, and find out from him what he wants to do.

he'll be craving local food after being away from home for so long.  So find out what he's craving and take him there!    For me, coming back from peru after 6 months it was bbq and krispy kremes
