  1. Anytime you have the opportunity to use a tee. Use it.  I look for a broken tee on the tee box or keep my broken tees from my drives and use them on the short holes.

  2. Tee it up. Give yourself a chance at catching it clean.

  3. It really depends on whether you can hit clean iron shots consistently without a tee.  The advantage of teeing it up is for better and cleaner shots since you are not hitting the ground, meaning you are eliminating one of the variables that can cause a bad shot.  If you are a beginner or even a so called weekend golfer, the chances are you are hitting about 30% of your irons shots badly from the ground, which is even more of a reason so tee it up when you have the chance.

  4. you are suppose 2 use one on every hole but find one on the ground that is broken and use it.

  5. You should try it both ways.  When I tee my irons or hybrids, my ball is still touching the grass so it's pretty low.  I've taken to not teeing my irons recently and have been hitting better on the par threes.

  6. It does not matter.. but being slightly advanced i have found it more comfortable to not tee it up.. its just an opinion but it depends on your trying them out.

so next time your playing a round.. try both.. see what works...

    both r ok!!

  7. i would tee it up. it gives you an advantage then hitting it off the ground. you can get under the ball better and have a better chance of a clean hit.

  8. Tee it up, but just a little.  Dig the tee all the way into the ground until only like a half inch maybe less is showing. Sometimes you can even find a broken tee around the tee box that the top is still good on

  9. Go ahead and use one, it gives you the chance to create the perfect lie.  Push the tee almost all the way into the ground so the ball sits just on top of the grass for iron and hybrid shots.

  10. I have heard from the pros that if you have the opportunity to tee it up, DO IT(opportunity meaning on the box, not the fairway....ha ha).  It allows for a cleaner hit and more control.  BUT as said, it is what you are comfortable with.

  11. Jack Nic always said if can tee it up then tee it up

if that worked for him - then its good enough for the rest of us...good luck with ur golf

  12. I think it was actually Arnold Palmer, not Jack, who said anytime you can tee it up..tee it up! It always is a small helping hand to get the ball up in the air!
