Depends on what you want and what languages you prefer. Spanish or Portugese. In Mexico we found more people speak (a bit) English and also a lot Americans and Canadians who can help out a little. In Brazil even in big tourist places people seldomly speak English. Don't try Spanis, 'cause they truly do not understand!
