Camp leader looking for new games to play next summer.

  1. Get a football and just have them kicking it to each other. Make sure it is an Aussie football and not a rugby or u.s. foot ball. They bounce differently.  This will improve their skills while having fun. Watch a video or two to see how they do it. There is really no need for perfection. Just let the them  have fun. Look up the AFL Australian Football league and even contact them for other rescources. Good luck it is a great game and you will love it I am sure. When it comes time to pick a team. Pick hawthorn. Good luck regards Johnno

    Look at their website http://afl.com.au/

  2. If you check out the 'Wikipedia' web site, they list pretty easy to follow rules, as well as pictures.

  3. i watched " Australian Rules Football" and the thing that stood out the most was there did not seem to be any rules.

  4. OK 2 keep it simple 6points for goal through the middle posts

1 point for going through posts either side

bounce ball in middle of field

you can kick or hand pass (ball in hand punch with other fist)

when you kick the ball if your teammate catches(marks)the ball he can stop and try and kick it between posts(goal)

if he thinks he is to far away he can run down field or pass to a teammate

the opposition can tackle under the waste only if the person with the ball is caught or pinned with the ball the opposition gets the ball

  5. OK Aussie rules is a fun game if u can kick the ball rite OK

so how u score is there is 3 posts and you have to try to kick though the middle one (that's 6 points) then though the ones to eather side u get one point

u can kick handball(use Ur fist to punch the ball whiles its in Ur hand) or  can bonce the ball but u then take 15 steps then bonce again. and you can tackle other players while they have the ball if they don't  hadn ball the ball its a free kick (but u have to give them about a minute to hand ball)

    u play 4 quarters and there eacth 25 Min's or 15 Min's

done that's all all need to no i guess with out getting really confusing

  6. Try www.usfooty.com - they have good instructions and even offer coaching packages I think.

Am assuming you are in the US, sorry if you aren't

  7. Go the A.R.L. website or the A.F.L wesite and they will send you the rules in an acrobat reader format.
