  1. I guess there is no Clipper nation. You're the Clippers only fan. I'm a Lakers fan just so that people know I'm not in Clipper nation.

  2. Whered Corey Maggete go?

    And nice line up

  3. Al Thornton and Tim Thomas will split time. Eric Gordon will overtake Mobley in a year and half

  4. What up Remogunz T,

On paper the Clippers look pretty good, but keep in mind that there are some major chemistry changes.  Yes, Baron and Camby are great additions- but i'm not sure that they offset the loss of Brand and Maggette.

Camby makes the Clippers a little more solid defensively.  But their starting backcourt of Davis and Mobley (while dangerous offensively) is a little bit lacking defensively.  Keep also in mind three of the starters:  Davis, Mobley and Camby have a lot of miles on them- and Kaman just is coming off injury- so keep in mind that health is important.

i think the Clippers would be pretty content just to make the playoffs - it's tough to be top 6 in the West you have:  Lakers, Hornets, Rockets, Jazz, Spurs, Suns, Trailblazers, Warriors, Mavericks

The Clippers would have to beat out the Suns, Blazers, Warriors, Mavs for a playoff spot- and to be the #6 they'd have to be the best of this bunch.  i don't see that happening.  If they stay healthy and develop some team chemistry- i'm thinking the #7  or #8 spot (at best).

Theloneg- are you kidding me best team in L.A. by far??  How about you guys make it past the 2nd round of the playoffs before you even attempt to smack-talk to the Lakers. 14 Championships!!!  You guys have 0 appearances in not even the Finals but in the Western Conference Championship- appreciate the enthusiasm - but please!!  The Lakers are the defending Western Conference Champs!!!  You got to get there and beat us out- before you start talking.  Don't get too excited yet!

  5. clipper nation? investing all your money in 2 injury prone 30 year olds isnt exactly a great move. yea baron stayed healthy all year but thats because he was aiming for a new contract. he has only played all 82 games twice in his career. camby has been injury prone since he first got into the nba. at any point they can go down and if history is an indicator of anything, they will. should they stay healthy all year, which is unlikely, they should contend for the 7/8 seed. theyre still not as good as the lakers, hornets, jazz, spurs, and maybe not as good as the suns, mavs, or rockets either.

  6. Best team in L.A. by far. Im feeling at least the 5 seed in the west this year. I think Eric Gordon will end up being the best player from the draft this year. And how can u not fell good about a team Baron Davis is leading? Kaman had a great breakout year last year and if he avoids injury's this team can go as far as they want

  7. Yes they have a chance to be good!

There better than the Warriors and the Nuggets ,now if that puts them in he playoffs just wait an see!

  8. i like the lineup so far
