To the libs: Do you believe everything that the Democrat Party represents?

If you dont how can you assume that Republicans believe everything that you have been told that Republicans stand for. Part of the problem with this country is assumptions. We assume and do not get to know what the other one thinks . There is immediate name calling and jumping to conclusions. What about getting to know where there is common ground and working out the differences?

  1. First off I would like to applaud moviebuff.  I do not agree with 100% of everything the Democratic party does. Most of it though.  I am not just a mindless person, I do my research.  I am very much for finding common ground and trying to work out the differences, but it just is not in the cards for mainstream politics.  That is what the rest of us have to do first. I am from Michigan, where there are no jobs.  Most of my family lost jobs due to downsizing or businesses closing. Most of the only available jobs require either Master's degrees or better (all for not a lot of pay anyway), or they are minimum wage fast-food jobs.  I also am an Army wife, with a husband currently in Iraq.  What I know for sure is that under Bush/Cheney my state lost money and jobs, and McCain doesn't intend to go a different way with that.  Also, my husband's life and safety mean everything to me. A vote for McCain/Palin would be a vote against my husband (and many others)'s well-being. If you have not faced these issues, of course you have no idea and no understanding of how bad things are with conservative Republicans in office.

  2. finding common ground is from obama's playbook.

  3. Typical McSame sheeple. There you go assuming I am Democrat because I called him McSame and you a sheeple.

  4. Do you believe that every democrat is a liberal.  I don't know what you think but it is pretty obvious what the Bush administration thinks.  Do you still have your job. If you do you are very lucky.  Have any of your family members interrupted their lives to serve in Iraq.  If not then they should have since you seem to support Bush.  If you think people are angry about what has happened  to us in the last 8 years you care 100 percent correct.  Do I blame you or every Republician, no but this time around I will blame everybody you votes Rebublican.  Abortion and g*y marriages should not be an issue this time.  Abortion is still legal after 8 years of Bush.  Now g*y marriages are also legal when Clinton was in office where they legal  h**l no.  I don't believe in abortion on demand and I am old so g*y marriage is kind of weird to me but nothing could get me to vote Rebublican
