I was hoping I wouldn't have to call you out, but as you can see, the Truthers were the only ones who responded.

The reason I'm particularly interested to hear your opinion is this:

You believe the official 9/11 story, correct? And who provided you with the offical 9/11 story? Is it not the mainstream media?

So, please go to my previous question and click on the link, then post your answer there, or here if you wish, it doesn't matter.

Don't tell me the question is too hard, I'm sure you can think of something. I know you despise the truthers, so here's your chance to shut them up. You're not gonna let the truthers win this one, are you? Any takers? Yeah, I'm daring you. =)

Do I or should we believe the media 100 % of the time  ,of course not.Your question is in fact rhetorical in nature .

Very little in this world is absolute but rather merely degrees of relativity.This being the reality,I DO trust the media for especially in this era with so many competing "news / information sources" ,I un-equivocably believe that in such an environment I have a much GREATER chance of hearing/reading/seeing the truth than any other information source.

Competition is the key to all this relativity.Is the mainstream media going to lie to me on occaision and on occaision deliberately withhold information ? Of course they are BUT much less often than any other general information source .

All individuals,groups,companies,governments etc have vested self interests in sometimes lying,mis-representing,obfuscation and omission INCLUDING YOU AND ME .

The grass is seldom greener on the other side for in the real world virtually everything is RELATIVE.

Dear Seb Assss,

On 9/11, hijackers commandeered planes and flew them into important US facilities in an attempt to destroy the US economy and force removal of US forces from the Middle East.

The media includes foreign media, bloggers and authors and whistleblowers. There are two many cooks in this kitchen for anything to be hidden. After all these years there is no evidence of conspiracy.

Please focus your time on other matters where the fed Govt is s******g you but please move beyond 9/11. I dare you.

Having read the 2003 Popular Mechanic Magazine I believe them and what they said.

The people who put out things like micheal moore and others I have found that they do not know what they are talking about and do not give them credit for anything.

The 9/11 commission had many people from all sides and found that the government did make mistakes leading up to 9/11 but they all stated that the government did NOT have anything to do with it.

We are in deep trouble if people are believing the media.  I see people still believing the propaganda of media member Popular Mechanics when the government's own subsequent investigators, NIST, debunk Popular Mechanics where the two cover the same issues.

Popular Mechanics is PART OF MAIN STREAM MEDIA.  Figure it out.  Research the power and money all the way to the top.  Research the undisclosed conflicts of interest.  It's a total joke, and people bought it....and STILL buy it.

It is disturbing to see people so dangerously uninformed as to believe that the 9/11 Commission investigation was above board. Even the main stream media reported some (not all) of the problems with the Commission.  It was a whitewash from start to finish and that is plainly evident for anyone who takes the time to research it.  Learn why it took so long for an investigation to even be called, and why it was called.  Learn why President Bush's preferred Chairman, Henry Kissinger. was forced to resign. Learn about the background of executive director Zelikow charged with deciding which evidence would/would not be allowed.  He was, and still is, a Bush insider.  Learn why the families who pressed for the investigation were deeply disappointed with it.   Learn about which government claims the Commission merely accepted as truth without any investigation.  Read the report to see for yourself how much was simply left out.

People must understand that the corporate controlled main stream media works against the interests of the people.  Ownership of the media is centralized into the hands of a very few corporate giants.  This giants and their shareholders own and control other corporations that profit from war, the war on terror and the tightening of the police state in America.   There is cross-over between ownership and boards of directors of media corporations and globalist organizations such as the Council on Foreign Relations.  If anyone doesn't understand that the CFR controls foreign policy, some reading is in order.

We must stop letting the profiteers spoon fed us the "reality" need to support their profit and power motives.  Research one of them, for example General Electric.  What media outlets does it own, what does it supply to the Pentagon, what other companies does it own that stand to profit from the war, war on terror and the resulting instability of oil prices.

The main stream media is a propaganda machine for government and corporate interests.  If we don't become media-wise, we will not survive as a nation.  Start here:

It is now public information that the media conspired with the Pentagon to feed us propaganda to include support for the Iraq war.  A couple of main stream media outlets have now acknowledged that but most of them continue to black out the story.

It gets worse.  The reason for embedding journalists during the early stages of the Iraq war was not about safety for journalists.  It was to allow the Pentagon to control the message.  The disregard for the safety of non-embedded journalists should be an embarrassment for every American.  The film linked here, created by a member of the MSM, covers it.
