1) I’m 14 y/o. After couple of months trying veggies, I feel much comfortable & good about myself. I can spell vegetarian correctly now. Anyway, my parents are still does not support this, and recently reprimanded me from surfing vegetarian websites and doing charity works. They ever whacked me for not consuming meat. (I would not blame them because beating their kids and eating their pets--is not wrong in my country). Apart from being a vegetarian (not pure, but vegetarian-like food), I never troubled them. I still maintained good conduct & study (I would not say because of veggies, of course). So, what is their problem?

2) Vegetarian food is not served at school canteen. I’m the only vegetarian here, but there are times I get weird treatment from my friends (You would not understand this, but there are only few treating me nicely). Sometimes they call me pig, dog, but I have to bear with them, but never know until when.

  1. According to me I am Vegetarian

I like veggies because it the best thing in Nature for we Humans

vegetarian food is easily consumed in our body.

Non Vegetarian food is harmful for our soul, body & mind.

you should keep this thing mind.

and if you want to Quit Vegetarian food you should first ask your heart & your soul.

think on it while you were free from all your work.

I don't know to which religion you Belong, from which location you are and your name.

But This is best i can tell you.

i am belonging to India and we Indians have a large variety of Vegetarian foods we love to eat them.

We are manufacturing our food that is farming.

you can't manufacture non vegetarian food it is God's creature.

God is in your Soul ask Him/Her.

That is my Thinking for your Question

Yuo should show this to your teacher , father,  mother or anyone ask him/her if i am writing anything wrong.

I know i am doing nothing wrong  if there is something you can tell me.

    enjoy your food!

  2. scary

  3. You should follow your parents wishes until such time as you are financially self supporting.

  4. Your parents whacked you? Sorry, but if that is commonplace behavior in your country, then you are just going to have to wait until you can leave the country legally before you can do whatever you want to do.

What country are you even from?

  5. don't let the world rule over your sovereign heart.

your feelings are precious... those who are mad at you are mad at you because you make them feel guilty.

if its any inspiration... i gave up meat when i was 13.. i was tortured to death and beaten badly many times... i'm 27 now... my parents have quit eating meat!

    goodluck!

  6. I do not know which part of country you from, but

you had done absolutely RIGHT attempt, except the...

Place & Time that you born.

Whether you remain or quit that is your absolute decision.

Hence, you can see many people are opting vegetarian diet worldwide; And in future, your grandchildren and your country too. Every countries had went thru this process. Your country(?) may be in the "transitional" process.

  7. how about you explain to your parents your true feelings about animal cruelty, and as for the kids who make fun of you, they are not a true freind

  8. I don't know what you are asking here.  You are having personal issues with peers and your parents and you are announcing that you are not going to be a vegetarian anymore.  I see a statement here..not questions related to the topic at hand.

  9. You can tell your teacher that when God created Adam and Eve, he intended them to be vegans. He said they could eat anything of the garden. He did not tell them to eat animals. Later on he did say that people can eat animals, but he did not mean for people to create factory farms and torture his lovely creatures out of gluttony. There is enough food that people these days don't HAVE to eat animals to survive, but they do it just because they like the taste, or because it's "normal". It's sickening.

  10. being a vegetarian is very healthy for you , I am not but wish I was . As far as religion is concerened your teacher must not be a christian or jewish

  11. God only loves those who eat animals? Ouch. Anyway, I know what it's like to have almost everyone against you for your eating habits. I've been yelled at (and occasionally hit) for being vegan from my friends, parents, siblings, relatives, teachers, and random people who i barely know (and called MUCH worse things that pig and dog). So from experience I've learnt that you have pretty much 2 choices: 1. Quit being vegetarian (which it seems like your about to do). By doing this you'll make the people around you happy, but you will probably feel bad inside, and you might be physically sick if you eat meat again (it happens). Or 2. You keep being vegetarian and annoy those around you but you'll being doing what you can to help animals and you will feel better.

By the sounds of it, you're going to start eating meat again. I only hope that you don't get sick from meat and will one day be able to do what you want. Good luck.

  12. Hmmm... I am not sure what to say.  I do understand your problem, not many get support on going vegetarianism.

I don't agree with what your teacher said. I think you will be able to find the true answer when you are older.

When we are out of the norm, not many people can understand us and they will treat us differently.  Sometimes, we don't have to care so much, as it is going to make us sad.  In school, you can also asked for vegetarian-like food or create the demand if you can.

You can go semi-vegetarian, eat less meat (so less suffering for the animals) and when you are older and able to support yourself or when you can change your parent mindset in the future, you can be a vegetarian again.

Things will be different.  Vegetarianism will be going strong and more and more people will be aware of it.  Look at the current situation in my countries and elsewhere, there are more awareness on vegetarianism and more outreach ...

More and more people are going vegetarianism, if not semi-vegetarianism, it is very different from the past : )

  13. you're in quiet the predicament! i mean i would say the easiest route would be keep your head low but try as hard as you can to stick to your beliefs. Don't announce your vegetarianism and maybe secretly dispose of your meat?

I'm not too sure on even this though, since it seems you're rebuked quite harshly...

It sounds like you're a really good person surrounded by a lot of people trying to knock you down.

Just keep faith and remember, someday you will have to answer only to yourself! (at least as far as vegetarianism goes).

I'm also wondering if you could tell us what country you're from?

  14. so many years in school and yet your teacher is still an idiot.
