  1. Throw off the yoke of this coming servitude .

  2. Globalization increases human rights protection, democracy, global awareness and global connections.  Globalization reduces waste and improves social welfare.  The only exclusions from globalization should be those that threaten the physical security of Americans from violent harm.  So, for example, we should not allow the outsourcing of our submarine construction apparatus.  It is important that almost all nations are now democracies.  Globalization makes it difficult or impossible for centralized authorities to operate without broad support.  Globalization says simply that no one is entitled to a job, unless they can out compete all other applicants for a job.  The groups that oppose it, such as unions, say that that is okay, as long as it isn't our workers losing jobs because they are not as competitive as some other worker.  The reason many groups oppose globalization is that they are really centralized power authorities.  Dictatorships, unions, trade cartels and corporate welfare are difficult to defend unless they can acquire wide ranging social support.  Globalization essentially says that all people are equal to the extent their talents are equal.  It gives the poorest countries of the world equal access to wealth, based on their starting capital, education, talents and resources.

No powerful group really likes globalization because power transfers to the base of the population and away from organized groups.

  3. they should embrace globalization in so far as they want to destroy their sovereignty, depress wages, create a global police state, and become slaves.

  4. Well, we invest in other countries in order to give ourselves benefits. That is, there is a wal-mart on every continent. The mutual benefit is in the exhange or trade of goods and labor. This means jobs for those in other countries and opportunity to expand business from ours.

This is happening but not at a rate where our own are suffering job loss or extreme poverty. Even if some Americans lost jobs to, for example, India, the chance is there for them to learn another trade or realize another choice of career. Embrace globalization because it is inevitable. Fight it if you are racist or fear cultures unlike your own. But don't prevent what will be the next phase of human development on Earth.
