  1. Globalization shapes your identity in many ways. One of the most important is how you identify yourself. As we come closer together as a global community it will become more difficult to think of yourself as belonging to a country, race or ethnicity. Soon, we will all see ourselves as citizens of the world.

  2. globalization means a greater responsibility towards oneself and the world.  as an individual i will continue to maintain my heritage, culture, identity.  then i also have an international obligation to understand the world, to bring the world closer for humanity to embrace each other no matter what color we are.  i will have some kinda dual personality.  one local and the other global.  this is the beauty of glbalization.  it doesnt mean that i give up my country/culture.  i embrace a larger one.  eg i learn my own language and the international one which is currently english - enabling me to communicate with others. my world view changes.  www.bahai.org
