To what extent has Bush & his supporters lost their credibility when they insist that Russia leave Georgia?

I do not think that the Bush Government has EVER had any credibility to begin with, so it has nothing to lose in its posturing now.

They have no morale high ground what so ever to speak of. Already Putin has hinted at this in his first response to Bush and company.

They should go read 20th century history, in the particular USSR context. Not that they respect their history but others all over the world respect it.

I don't think they have any credibility at all.  Certainly Russia's act of aggression was wrong, but after Bush's illegal invasion of Iraq, and seeing how he got away with it, Putin is merely taking a play from GWB's book.

none.  obviously this is liberal whine about comparing georgia to iraq.  georgia, not as al qaeda dosent engage in world terrorism..THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE.

Not nearly as much as anybody who is trying to defend Russia's aggression against Georgia.  And when such people are questioning anybody else's credibility.. does it really amount to much?

Actually i think you will find america's credibility has dramatically increased as the World looked on the usa told the russians in no uncertain terms to leave and what do you know they have left.  America has come out of this conflict looking very powerful whereas russia looks confused and lost.
