To what extent should people have the freedom to say whatever they want?

Also, do Americans take advantage of their rights?

People should have the right to say whatever they like as long as it is not an outright threat to someone else or a blatant lie intended to specifically harm someone else.

I'm not sure what you mean by your second question, how do we take advantage of our rights?
