How do I find the right person in a company to complain to?

Any tips on writing an effective complaint letter and getting results?

  1. It depends what is your complaint if your complaining about a burger at MC Donald then the manger if your complaining about a drug at a pharmaceutical company then the FDA or the CEO


  2. Start out positive, what you liked about your product or service, why you choose it to begin with.  Then in paragraph 2, state what happened, why and how it effected you, and how disappointed you were.  Close by stating that you were, surprised, shocked, appalled, by whatever happened, and let them know that you hope they take immediate action to correct your issue, so no one else has the same experience.

    As far as who to direct it to, I'm pretty bad with that.  I usually direct it to management or customer service.  However if you write a good enough letter, it will get noticed.
