all the ones before me were really great moments, but i would have to nominate Eric Lamaze and Hickstead winning the Individual Showjumping.

That last jump they took was phenomenal. What they did has NEVER been done before and it was so spectacular to watch.

My best moment was the Men's 4 x 100 Freestyle Relay. The stage was set when Alain Bernard (the 100 free WR holder) began to trash talk and said the French had come to 'smash the Americans'. It was amazing to see the US's 32 year old Jason Lezak come from so far behind to out-touch the French team by a mere .08 seconds with the fastest relay split of all time (46.06 - his best time is slightly under 48 seconds - almost 2 full seconds for 100 meters). I witnessed a super human effort.

It was so ironic that 8 years ago in the Sydney Games, in the same event (4 x 100 free relay), the same leg (the anchor leg Gary Hall Jr.), on the favored team (the US) the same thing happened. He said the Americans would smash the Aussies like Guitars only to be beaten and the Aussie's celebrating on the deck by playing 'Air Guitars'.

Excellent Olympics!

That swimming relay medley where that one american almost lost to some other country then came back like, super last second and hit the wall. it was sick.

It was Bolt winning the 100 and asking where everyone else was before he got to the finish line. Also Phelps 1/100th win in the 100m butterfly.
