i have a 6 year old cousin who wants an ipod. I don't think she should cuz she lost mine in like 2min and it took me like 4 hours to find it. Plus her mom dosn't even let her on the computer so she can't download songs and she can't spell very well and if she mispells a song then she may get a "bad" song so do you think her 'rents should get her one? i think not but what about you?

  1. i say no. it would be useless if you cant download songs and it sounds like shes not very responsible. but 4 the mispelling thing she can just ask her mom. but still, is she even in to music and songs?

  2. Personally I wouldn't get a 6 year old an iPod. I would try her out first with an MP3 player, there are some out there that are around $20. Or maybe you could just get her a walkman. See how she takes care of those, and tell her if she can keep it for a while and take responsibilty for it she can get and iPod.

  3. i say get her a cd player so that she or her mum or you can pick out cd's she likes instead of the complications of the internet and itunes and the possibility of downloading something she shouldn't see. so yes she is too young for an ipod. get her a cool lil cd player =)

  4. Noooo!!! Dont give her an ipod. My Best friends sister had got  one ipod nano for her b-day  and she lost it like 3 days after. and she is 6 years old. Shes a good speller. She can spell pretty well!

  5. No, do not let her have an ipod, mostly for the reason she has no computer, you could just buy her a radio to put in her room.

  6. do not give her and ipod. if u do then she might loose it. u could just tell her something that ipods will make ur ears bad and make u blind and she will not want one. if u get her one she will lose it by giving it to one of her freinds and they might steal it.

  7. I believe she is too young for an ipod, but maybe not for a cheap mp3 player.

  8. No! All the lil kids I know only use them cuz they think it makes them look cool. Then they lose them in less than a week later. An there are a million bad songs. What is see looked up Barbie Girl and downloaded Ugly Girl instead. But if you do at least help her pick out songs or something.

  9. well i think if you like music then it shouldn't matter, but if she looses it and wouldn't be aloud on the computer then i think it would be a bad idea, but unless the parents chooses which songs or downloaded them for her then i think it would be better, but i think she should wait until she is older.. if that helps in anyway

  10. Maybe not an ipod, i would go for a cheap MP3 player, thatway if it gets lost it wont matter so much.
