To young for hormones?

Hi i am a 14 year old boy who is transgendered. I love all things girly. Anyway, i have told my parents and seen counselors and want to start taking hormones. Can i being this young?

  1. Usually what happens is if you are under 18, you will be put on anti-androgens. They will stop production of male hormones while you are on them and delay your puberty until you are 18

    At age 18 you begin taking estrogens.

    There are cases where you can get estrogens before you turn 18, but they are not very common and may require certain prerequisites for them

  3. No you aren't, but you need your parent's permission first. There was this boy on Tyra who was born a girl but wanted to be a boy so they gave him hormone blockers to stop him from growing b***s and getting a period. Maybe they have something like that, but you probably would've had to have started younger since you probably started puberty already. But talk to your parents. Most people wouldn't agree with what you want to do since you're young, but it's up to you.
