James To52land, from Sheffield England, will be on a Honda with some decent tyres. Quote from Soup:

" World Superbike points leader James Toseland will race a factory Honda (on Michelin tires) with British Superbike points leader Ryuichi Kiyonari. A second factory Honda will be piloted by MotoGP veteran Carlos Checa and Jonathan Rea, the young English rider. Tady Okada is a reserve for the team. "

This is great news. Also I see that Jonny Rea has got a decent ride.

Do you think James can win? He has the best team, and a great second rider. I hope he can. If so, Honda will love him & put him a decent Championship rather then that dead WSB "cup" .

  1. I say Rea wins and he does :D.   And Toseland is awesome, just a matter of time before he has himself a championship.  Gresini Honda MotoGP?

  2. Morning Wiggy,

Those two bikes will be awesome - I really like Kiyo, and think the two would have to be a (slightly) better bet than Rea/Checa - though with that youth/experience thing going on, who knows.

If you click the above link - you'll see more Toseland speculation - this wondering if he'll be alongside Vermeulin on Hopkins old ride at Suzuki? Good move you think? Or never gonna happen?

Randy Mamola has just said (on the GP warm up show) that there's only 4 out of 19 possible riders secured their seat for 2008 - which is why Hopper jumped so fast!

    I love transfer season!
