Toad Help anyone know?

My American toad is getting to the size of about your circle you can make with you pionter and thumb finger. Me and my bro Want to have baby toads(Breed) . We know that we need anouther toad (Plenty in my backyard!!!!!) not kidding!!how can we make them more comfortable to breed or just breed at all. P.S. we know that once the mom does lay eggs that we need to take the dad out and keep the mom in until the eggs hatch? if that is true. Any tips about breeding like when is the toad pregnate, How to tell male from female, anything you can think off. Help please we are desprate!!!!

Without knowing for sure which are male and which are female, I'd set up an aquarium that's 'natural' to a toad's environment.  After that, I'd put in several toads, and chances are they won't be all of the same gender.  Instead of capturing them, it'd be better to get them from a pet store.  Wild toads may not like living in captivity.
