Don,t worry about toads, any toads.  Unless you "eat" the toad, or get the secretions from the Perotid Glands (large swellings on top of head behind eyes) in your eyes, no harm will befall you.  And, even if you did do either of these things, it would NOT kill you.

Toads are poisonous but the glands are located behind their eyes along the head. You'd have to l**k it to get poisoned, or touch your hands to your mouth after handling it.
