Me and my friend Sarah caught a toad at her camp. do you know anything about toadz? Do they need water to swim in or No? We need infomation

  1. No, toads do not require swimming water, but they do require drinking water. Go to wikipedia.org and your local library, they will help you.


  2. You would need a aquarium to keep it in. 10 gallon or larger. Go to a garden center and get UNMILLED sphagnum moss. Wet the moss thoughly with declorinated water (let the water sit out in an open container for about 24 hours) and put it in the bottom of the cage to a depth of about 2 or 3 inches. Keep the moss wet by pouring some watter over it now and again. Put in a shallow water dish for the toad to soak in if it wants. Give it a hide to, well, hide in. Pet stores have coconut halves that work well.

    Also some fake plants or other cover that the toad can hid in would be good.

    As for food, most pet stores sell crickets. about 6 crickets 3 times a week is about the norm.

    Look up what type of toad it is and try to find a care sheet for it online.
