  1. To the best cake maker to the best cake baker to the woman I admire who never tired making the sweet cake that I wish I could make and take with me too.

  2. "I'd like to pay a special thanks to my mother-in-law, the woman who bakes our beautiful cake, and who is just as sweet as the things she makes. Thank you so much for creating something that is perfect for the two of us. Here's to years of more delicious treats and wonderful memories from ::name here:: "

EDIT: Oops, forgot to mention that you should do this after all the other toasts have been made, and remember to keep it short and sweet.

  3. My hubby's aunt made our wedding cake for us, so I prepared a very nice acknowledgement/Thank you and framed it and put it on the table with the wedding cake for all to see.  I think she appreciated it too.

But if you want to do that as a toast, that is up to you.  It's your wedding day and you get to do things however you want!

  4. After you best man and maid of honor typically does a toast you and your husband should take a moment to make to special toast for the cake maker and anyone who had gone above and beyond to make your day special.  I'ts always nice to be recognized.  It does take many hands to make our dreams come true.
