Tobacco taxes for importing cigars

i want to import cigars to canada and i was wondering how much it will cost me in taxes if i were to buy a box of cigars and have them shipped to canada so if any one can help please let me know...

also this is the site that i wanna buy them off cuz its the first decent priced site i have found

  1. You don't pay taxes unless the smokes are reported to Canada revenue service. Most shippers don't bother. I have also found that many places don't ship to Canada.

    The most reputable shipper to Canada that I have found is Cigar Tycoon USA http://cigartycoon.com/.  I recommend that you email them if you have questions as they would know more.

    I know they are reputable as I use their wholesale division to supply my store. Good Luck.


  2. There are probably customs restrictions for how many cigars can be brought in at one time, and also from what countries.  You might check with the Department of Customs (maybe their website will state tobacco restrictions)
