It's the main place he goes.. sometimes he takes a shower just because he needs to pee.

  1. Lol what male doesn't pee in the shower or bath, but you need to really enforce the issue with your son to use the toilet when he needs to go to the loo and tell him why its important to do so as that is totally unacceptable behaviour especially at his age, I wouldn't have a problem if he was already taking his daily shower and he pee'd everyone just about does that, but to actually go and take another shower just so he can pee is alil outrageous and not normal behaviour.

The only benefits of him peeing in the shower is that he won't get tinea lol

  2. at that age they are fascinated with their p***s if he is taking a shower just to pee non thing is wrong with that just tell him to make sure he washes the shower out so your feet don't break out and he's not doing it outside around the yard

  3. It really shouldn't be the "MAIN" place that he goes... If he goes when he`s getting his shower for the day, then OK, but for the rest of the day he`s got to use the toilet!

  4. yeah its all good.. just make sure hes not like looking forward to peeing in the shower everyitme he has to go... then theres soemthign wrong..

  5. No, I wouldn't let him just pee in the shower unless he is already in there and needs to go

  6. no. yuk, stop it now. unless you disinfect it each time he goes in there. does he do it at friends houses? talk to his doctor about it. may be an underlying problem you know nothing about.

  7. Hey!  If he didn't tell you, you would never have known it.  By the time he's 12 - 13, he'll be masturbating in the shower. So don't worry about it. Kids will be kids and Adolescence will be adolescence.

  8. It all depends. Is he the only one who takes a shower in that shower? If he is, I don't think he should do it, but it would be better for the family...

  9. let him its going down the drain and besides most boys pee anywhere they can, the only thing that i would worry about is if he didnt pee in the toliet that could cause some issues like at school when he has to go

  10. well make sure hes peein on the floor   i mean like if he peed on all the walls i kick his little *** or ground him what ever works i would go with kick *** up to u

  11. yes

  12. I would let him do it. what does it hurt? i would just wash my shower alot. I think that most men pee in the shower. At lest he is clean. LOL

  13. My 10yr old daughter does the same!  Saves water, peeing in the toilet and peeing again in the shower anyway.  We are all about water conservation here.

  14. Not a big deal, unless you feel that he's getting OCD about it or other things in his life.  If so talk to his doctor about it in private before you bring it up to him in that way.

If not, opposing some people, I'm the kind of parent that would rather know than not know.  Now you know to clean it more, and maybe teach him to help you.   You can't be in there with him, and you can't stop it.  If you yell at him you're setting the tone for how much he will tell you in the future.  Pick your battles, and keep him communicating with you.

  15. im assuming that u meant he pees while  taking his shower?  and that u didnt mean that he goes to the shower and pees in it instead of the toilet when hes not taking a shower?  am i correct?  if thats the case then it is i guess ok but as an older male i dont recall peeing in the shower but idont see the harm in it.  Try to talk to him or have ur husband or other adult male(if ur not married or have no husband; ei:divorced etc) and maybe try to find out why he likes to pee in the shower.  your profile says ur mom to 2 boys, if the other boy is older, did he also like to pee in the shower? and if he is older then maybe he can talk to his bro about it.  and find out why he likes to do it, etc.    hope ive been of help

  16. During a normal shower, it's normal... showering just because is not normal, and I'd discourage him from doing it.

  17. I think that it is not a big deal and at least he will smell clean. Some boys at around that age refuse to take showers so it is good he is doing it!

  18. that's ridiculous to shower just because he needs to pee, and gross

  19. sure -it's healthy.

  20. Well, when my kids are in the shower, they usually have to go pee (I think it's just how your body relaxes when you're in the shower), so I let them pee in the shower.  But I would never let them take a shower just to go pee.  And I would start teaching your son how to clean the shower!

  21. Um, Id leave it be.

I mean, how would you stop it?

    Monitor his showering?

  22. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No!!!!!!!! As a parent, you need to lay ground rules... he is nine years old, therefore he is old enough to decipher between what is both acceptable and unacceptable... if you are uncomfortable with this, you need to stop it. of couse, you probably will not monitor his showering, however, as long as you are against it, then he should listen... that's not acceptable behavior... that's a sign that not only does he consider it okay to allow his parents to know that he pees in the shower, it also shows that when he is older he will be very open about things you probably don't want to know, or things he shouldn't be doing, and thinking its acceptable. As a parent, I would say no. If they sneak and do it, how would i know?? But that means you need to be cleaning the tub every d**n time he pisses on the shower floor... nobody want to soak in that!!!

  23. I have heard that peeing in the shower is actually good because your urine will sterilize the bottom of the shower.  This would especially be good in public showers because it kills bacteria that would cause athletes foot.  It will get washed down anyway.

  24. lmao

everyone NOT JUST MEN pee in the shower

    its harmless let him be

at least hes taking a shower lol

  25. no! first of all, taking a shower just because he needs to pee is wasting tons of water. second of all, when he pees in the shower he is temporarily bathing his feet in pee. that's disgusting and unsanitary.(he probably doesnt care, but u should.) he needs to be taught that the right place to go is THE TOILET and nowhere else.

  26. I'm 33 and I still pee in the shower! and even if you wanted to how would you stop him? it's only pee he could be doing worse things

  27. Why doesn't he use the toilet??? I mean most people use the washroom 3-4 times a day, so does your son plan on taking that many showers a day?

  28. Look on the bright side because he could be peeing in his pants. Be happy because he is being honest and open with you!

  29. I pee in the shower.  Although, I don't take a shower every time I need to pee.  That is kind of weird.  I wouldn't take him to a psychologist unless he starts pooping in the shower.
