well since the protest organizers were predicting 50000 and 8-10k showed up ( the AP said it was only about 2k ) kinda weak really.

And violence broke out as well as a few dozen were vandalizing stores and cars I would day ummm...  theres idiots everywhere,  there was some protesters who had to be pepper sprayed at the DNC convention also.... but at least they werent smashing car and store windows.

The protesters were anarchists and as such, tend to amuse themselves by destroying property and intimidating people.  That they chose the Republican convention is a badge of honour since it shows that the Republican Party is tougher on crime.

All the liberals want to protest...fine do it yes it will get you on TV congrats get over it. Protesting is one thing smashing and vandalizing stuff is another. What are these protesters after making a stink and giving police a reason to use force so they can get their attention on tv or their true cause? The anti war nuts said they would have 50,000 supporters less and 8,000 showed up not quite a popular cause as they thought. But protestors will show up to anyplace their are a lot of cameras most of them are stupid kids who dont even know or care what they are protesting.

These are not your typical protestors. A small opening in the media coverage reported those protestors were hitting people, throwing f***s at people and damaging cars among other things. These protestors are really thugs probably paid and partially shipped in by desperate old boy political groups. The Rebulican protestors do not use those methods and are more likely to be real concerned citizens.

HOWEVER: Twice the amount showed up to protest the RNC.

The republican ticket consists of an old war vet (and I respect him for that) who is totally out of reach with the general american public and a caribou hunter who was Governor of a state with the same population as El Paso Texas.

I think half of the protestors don't even know what they're protesting. They heard 'road trip,' 'free beer' and 'hang out with your friends' and they just hopped in the car for the ride...

Most of these geniuses can't even tell you who the vice-president is, or even point their own city out on a map. But somehow they're experts on politics.

Ah, well. It gives them something to do when they're not working the drive-thru at the local McDonald's....
