Random question that popped in my head. With all of the damage to the Earth that today's society has caused from pollution, do you think that if we come up with more eco-friendly ways of transportation and other pollution sources, that the damage we have cause will be fixed?

  1. Of course it will be fixed. We are capeable of almost anything if we put our minds to it. I mean we flew to the moon and have explored the solar system. Why can't we fix a bit of damage? I mean some of the technology we come up with is amazing. We can make video calls to anyone anywhere, so cleaning up our air, water and land should not be a hard task.

  2. Well, we can reach a tipping point where nothing that we do will overcome the climate changes which are manifested by man's inhumanity to his natural surroundings.

For example, if nothing is done, we are facing an oil shortage by 2020.  Many nations will have to resort to coal to create electricity.  Excessive coal burning will tend to exacerbate the pollution and greenhouse gas effects.

We can turn this around, but we must start now.
