This morning I went to a Health Club and walked on a treadmill for an hour and swam around in a pool for a bit.

When I came home it was around 11-12 o' clock. Now its 5:33 PM. From when I came home until now I ate:

- Roasted chicken Subways sandwhich (tomatos, wheat bread, lettuce, mustard, and onions)

- Turkey Subway sandwhich (tomatos, wheat bread, mustard, onions, and lettuce)

- Another roasted Subway sandwhich

- Lots of water

- A bowl of kiwi and mango and a banana

- Another bowl of kiwi and mango (no banana)

Is what I ate today fattening!?!

  1. depends. did you get the 6in or 12in?

  2. Nothing looks fattening. But why did you post this in the vegetarian section?

  3. It's not the worst, but it's not the best either.

  4. Subway has the nutritional info on its website, and I have even seen it on their napkins and cups, lol. If you look on the website you can see what the calories, fat, etc are in each sandwich(1).

    Roasted Chicken (for a 6 inch, 12 would double):

    310 calories

    5 grams fat

    1.5 sat fat

    0 trans fat

    Mustard:

    2T= 5 calories

    Turkey Sub(6 inch):

    280 calories

    4.5 grams fat

    1.5 saturated fat

    Mustard

    2T = 5 calories

    What you ate was not really fattening, however if you were eating the 12 in subs, the calories are high(but well within healthy range(around 1850). Obviously the roasted chicken sub is the worst, with a 12 in giving you almost 650 calories. Subway is a better choice for "fast food", than most places. The saturated fat is very low and many of the sandwiches are reasonable with calories(as long as the person does not add extras, such as mayo, cheese, etc.)

    It sounds as if you are eating fine, however I would incorporated more fresh vegetables(iceburg lettuce and tomatoes is not enough). Try are make you own healthy meals at home.

  5. no bc you are exersized b4 you ate and you burned the cals.

  6. I wouldn't do it every day but as a one off you should be ok with it. I don't think you're going to put on loads of weight because of it. Just don't adopt it as a lifestyle choice, as although there's salad included and you seem to have eaten fruit through the day also, it's better for your body to have a variation of different foods and vegetables to provide all you need nutritionally. x

    I don't understand why it's in vegetarian/vegan if you had chicken and turkey though.

    :-P

  7. Well first it depends on whether they were 6in or 12in.  But its not that bad but I wouldn't say do it daily.

  8. Low fat meats. No mayo or olive oil. Wheat bread.

    Looks fine. Only question being the size of the sandwich and what exactly that 3rd sandwich had on it.

  9. A foot long with chips and a drink has about 1300 calories. It all depends on what you want your caloric intake to be.

  10. No not bad really...unless the sandwiches were bathed in creams and sauces I think your OK.
