Today I started my new life and I threw out everything I own to start over am I nuts?

I came to a conclusion today that I needed to start my new life and I did it by throwing out everything I own and I am going to start over

really everything I own. I want brand new everything because I deserve better than what I was telling my self I was. am I crazy?

You are my hero! I wish I had the money to do the same! Not crazy...leaving whatever it is in the past...in the past and out with the old, in with the new is not just a crazy saying.

Either crazy or totally rich.  I couldn't possibly afford to replace everything I own, no matter how much I might deserve it.

I think you'll find, though, that new things don't make your life better.  You need to start from the inside.

good luck and congratulations. that takes a lot of courage and determination to put yourself out like that.

nature and many religions teach us that sometimes you simply have to wipe the slate clean and start fresh. i think most of us are too attached to things and the comfort of the familiar. so, lives can become clogged up with lots of unessential baggage. maybe this a good time for you to decide what is important to you and dispense with the junk.

if you have the desire and go for gold, why not? just because life may not be a bed of roses does not mean you need to sleep in the second rate discards.

i hope it works out for you and that you get what you want. the good thing about burning those bridges means you only can go forward.
