  1. Did you have fun? I'm sure you did. As long as you had fun, it doesn't matter if you placed last or first. I know this kinda sounds like something your mom or a teacher might say, but it's the truth. Im very happy for you even though were not best friends or whatever. And next time you'll do better. You're learning.  Im sure the best of the best riders didn't start out wining every class they went into!

Keep up the GREAT work!!!!   :)

  2. it was your first show so that was good! once you start showing more youll place higher but 5th is still really good for your first show you should be proud=]

  3. its your first show what do u exspect ??

thats pretty good give your self  credit =)

  4. i went to my first show 2 weeks ago and did halter, english pleasure wtc, western pleasure, wtc, in hand trail, and bribe a horse i place second in bribe but thats it so good job and my horse is a 24 y/o sway backed morgan but he did great i was proud just to get there. and in the ribbons id great alot better that the crying hole  (7th or one out)

  5. If you did the best you could 5th is good! Its just a schooling show anyways. Good Job!

  6. it was your first show, and even placing at a first show is awsome. But remeber that the first couple shows are for experience on the circuit! so dont stress about ribbons 2 much because this whole thing is new. but 5th out of 11 is great keep it up !

  7. for a first time show yes you did good, and you weren't last so all the better. But showing shouldn't be just about winning, it should also be about learning, having fun, bonding(with your horse and others) i see alot of youngsters who focus too much on winning and it takes the pleasure out of it for them. the more you do it the better you and your horse will get, i am sure you will earn more ribbons, but just go out and have a good time. congratulations on your first ribbon!

  8. if you tried youre hardest it dosnt matter , 5th place thats way better than what anyt of your otherfriends could get and i could never do that, if you did youre best thats all that matters congratulations:)

  9. congratulations excellent day out.

How do you think you went?

I think for a first show that you were very lucky to get a ribbon. Just to go out and be confident is a great start, anything else is a bonus.

Super well done, I bet all those that didn't get a place were thinking how wonderful you were, and trying to copy your effort. And next time out you'll be watching the better ones, so you can try and emulate them. Keep up the great work!
