  1. Alaska = Oil...

And she's his walking flack jacket.

  2. Senator McCain made a wiser decision than you think.

You forget that Alaska, while sparsely populated, is the largest state in our great country.  Given its geography, the Governor of Alaska has to deal directly with the Canadian and Russian govenments over issues such as fishing rights, oil exploration, trade and transportation.  She brings more foreign credentials to the table than Senator Obama does.

The more you read about her, the more you realize how popular she is in her own state and how she truly has brought change to her state.

Governor Palin is an excellent choice.

  3. grasping for straws are we

mmmm  McCain has been kinda busy

Palin runs the state of Alaska  - shes busy too

u think they have alot of free time like Democrats  to go sailing

on the probably tax payer funded sail boats   like Kennedy ?

  4. Palin's "...articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking..."

    AND CHANGE NOT another Lawyer!

And if J Biden's so good why such a poor showing in the D Primaries?!? Rejected, damaged goods???

  5. so whats you point? She has been discused for month in GOP circles if you stopped watching PMSNBC you would know that she was a front runner

  6. yep. Just to draw attention away from the DNC by picking a controversial VP.

  7. I think he shot himself in the foot.  I guess he is going to have to drop the "Obama is not experienced enough" act since Palin has less experience than Obama.....

On the flip side, I think she sounds like a nice lady...ready to be VP?  Not sure.  If McCain goes down, I don't know how comfortable I would be with Palin taking over...she has led a little of 6k people....can she handle millions...as well as the world...not sure!

  8. It was a no brainer that he was going to choose a woman. I just thought that it would be Condi.

  9. After last night, the ball is in Obama's court.

McCain is DESPERATE to get the angry Hillary votes

  10. Incognizant thinking.  Seems a desperate choice.

  11. Very bad choice made out of desperation. McCain's choice has just cost him the General Election.

  12. It shows poor judgement.

Who would you rather have as a VP - a distinguished Senator with 28 years experience or a former  beauty queen?

  13. I think it shows that Obama is right he is just like Bush, and will make poor decisions

  14. McLame just isn't that successful with the ladies. He's not even a real man. Maybe some scottish power would do him good.

  15. so...

  16. It was a great decision. Unlike Obama's pick who actually knew Obama all too well. And said he was unqualified to be President; as he lacked the experience. And later affirmed his earlier statement.

  17. I think it was a brilliant move!  McCain will win back the conservative base of his party, plus lure disgruntled Hillary supporters who are tired of the DNC's sexism.

    P.U.M.A.

  18. I've never been around McCain or Obama.  None of us has, yet we are the ones making the decisions as to who gets elected.  Who freakin cares how much time they spent together?  It doesn't matter.  If she has a good record that he agrees with, (And she does) then she is a good pick.  Palin is a great pick.....period.  She has more experience running VP then Obama does running for President.

    McCain/Palin 08

  19. Poor, he wasnt thinking about the country, he is thinking about how to get the Hillary Clinton votes.
