    It tis the inflation data for the week ended on Aug 16.  Always the inflation data is give for two weeks behind.

    The effect of high inflation is generally bad for all segments.  Insurance and all other financial sectors will take a bad cue from this as the interest rates will be revised to control the high inflation.
