Todays music VS Old music?

Question

I am a fourteen year old girl and i don't know if its just me or is the music these days crappy,I mean basically everyone is signing about the same thing just using different words!Older music is so much better AND half the people that listen to today's music only listen to it being its the in thing

(not saying EVERYONE JUST SOME ^)

I think some music should go back to what it used to be we need a variety instead of the same stuff?

Doe anyone agree?

i think modern day music isn't very original, some songs even take ideas from the old ones. If the artists today could be m ore original, today's music would have more quality. my favorite artists are Beethoven, Elgar and The Smiths. I am more of a classical music person.
