Todd Bentley in my opinion is a great man of God. The fact he is sadly seperated from his wife and family does not devalue what happened in Lakeland. Fact over twenty people got reserected from the dead!! Loads of people got healed and saved. I still get excited by it all and has brought me much closer too God. I am Saved and a evangelical christian. I am not bothered or surprised the things Todd did but not seen that amount of miracles etc before. No what has intrigued me and I haven`t seen before is one night he was pretending too shoot bows and arrows. A somewhat confused crowd felt the need to follow suit as he had told them to do the same. As I say I have never seen this practice before can anyone please explain this to me??

  1. *miracles*lol

  2. With all due respect, if Todd Bentley is responsible for 20 resurrections, mainline media would report it and demand verifiable facts, which I'm certain Mr. Bentley is unable to provide.

    I have no doubt David Copperfield, Lance Burton, and a host of capable stage magicians can duplicate any of Mr. Bentley's "miracles."

  3. Raised from the dead, huh?

    It was just a stage show, guy. All of it was fiction.

  4. Strange how no one but Todd seems to have ever seen these alleged resurrections.

    You'd think that they'd at least have to go through some sort of legal action to reverse their death certificates.

    Strangely enough, there's been absolutely no such activity in any of the regions Bentley has claimed to have raised the dead.

    So either none of these risen dead people are willing to help Todd in his ministry, or Todd's flat out lying.

    Neither one makes Todd look very good.

  5. The shooting of the bow and arrows action is just a ruse to get people excited and worked up. Bizarre actions gets people's attention and keeps it.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~...
    Matthew 22:21-23: "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
    I have had the "Todd Bently discussion" with many people, one of which is a very close friend who believes Todd Bentley is a man of God.
    So, let's examine the facts:
    First of all, God cannot contradict Himself. It's not possible. He cannot go out of character for Himself, nor can He lie. So, has Todd Bentley portrayed a "god" with a different character? Yes!
    Jeremiah 29:11 tells us, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
    First thing to note: God does not desire to harm us. He says so in His Word. Yes, He will allow things to happen, but He will not inflict harm upon us.
    That being said, Todd Bentley brags about kicking a woman in the face with a biker boot, kneeing a man in the abdomen who had cancer, strangling another man, leg-dropping a pastor, etc...All of these actions go against Jeremiah 29:11. Is God a liar? Or is Todd Bentley off on what he believes?
    Secondly, Scripture is clear that many people in the last days will be performing signs and wonders.
    As Jesus said in John 4:48, "Unless you people see miraculous signs and wonders," Jesus told him, "you will never believe."
    Jesus understood how signs and wonders can cause us to be mesmorized and convinced of a person's authenticity.
    2 Timothy 3:2-5 says, "People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them."
    Look at some of those characteristics which define the "worldy way" of living and then compare them with Todd Bentley.
    It's easy to say, "Well, he's just human!" But when someone is "overcome with the Spirit" or "drunk in the Spirit", they will not act contrary to Scripture. If they have been so overcome with the Lord that they cannot stand up straight, then there is no way they would be doing an action that goes against Scripture.
    Lastly, Fresh Fire Ministries have been quick to say, "Look at his fruits! Look at all the people coming and being saved." Okay, let's look at his fruits. Remember, when Jesus referred to a person's "fruit", He was referring to the fruit of the Spirit. Makes sense, right?
    So, here is what Galatians says is the fruit of the spirit: Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control.
    Again, compare those traits with Todd Bentley and see where he measures up.
    There are many more points I could make, if you'd like to continue this discussion, please feel free to e-mail me. The last days are here and we are seeing more and more false preachers and false doctrines arising. Be wise to what Scripture says so that you will not be a deceived elect.
  6. The problem is, there is absolutely no evidence that anyone was raised from the dead.
    Todd was apparently up there lying about all that from day one.
    I guess I wasn't there the night of the bow and arrows.
    I was there 4 nights, and he never read from the Bible on any of those nights.
    Not one person has come forward anywhere in the world and said, "I was raised from the dead."
    We now know that when the crusade was over for the evening, he would be out drinking and was having an affair with a female staff member.
    His own Board of Directors has fired him.
    Many Christians were totally duped by this guy.
  7. Hi Daniel - can i just start by saying - don't let anyone steal what the Lord has given you -- hold on to it b/c He loves you and the best is yet to come...
    I watched the Florida outpouring  on-line every night for 8 weeks and received an awesome touch from God which has changed my life.
    Thousands of people gave their lives to Christ as they came to the altar weeping as the Holy Spirit received and cleansed them -- it was beautiful to watch. Thousands of people were healed of all types of illness. Miracles were happening and the world could see God pour out His love and mercy...
    No one can change what God gave us.
    This isn't the right place to share about God's outpouring - as you can see those who answered haven't experienced the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
    I watched the night your asking about. It was revelations that God gave Todd in the spiritual realm. You can go to www.god.tv and watch every meeting from 3rd April to 8th August.
    For those who question Todd's anointing - all the Resurrections, healings and miracles were documented - before anyone went on to the platform to testify they had to share it at different stages with 3 separate people - then they were allowed to share it with all present and those of us watching.
    You know not all Christians hear God's voice like you did - some  are forerunners in the body of Christ and hear His voice loud and clear -- be encouraged your living close to the Lord.
    God bless you with His love and favour brother
    lets pray for more souls to come into the kingdom      :  )
  8. Yeah,  It's to do with Robin Hood being the pagan 'green man' the spirit of the forest. Todd's miracles and resurrection stuff are a cunning plan to lead people into paganism by pretending to be christian.
    Actually, no, I've never heard of the guy, but it all sounds completely off the wall. Couldn't you try basketball, or darts?
