Todd Jones?

What will happen to Todd Jones. I am getting tired of him blowing leads. I think him and Rodney will be traded.

I don't think they'll be able to trade Jones, but my guess is he won't be the closer for long.  If Zumaya is healthy, he should be the first choice for new closer.  If not, there are a couple of other young arms in the pen that are much better than Jones.  Jones will probably end up being released or relegated to mop up duty in blowouts.

Leyland just made Rodney his official closer as of today. Jones will fill in for Zumaya now that he's hurt again.

Todd Jones isn't throwing the way he used to. I say that once zumaya is healthy they promote him to closer and demote jones to the bullpen. that way zumaya can blow past the ninth inning and get the win.

today rod and mario said he is no longer the closer and that rodney is.  that scares me.  i sure was ticked friday night, though.  personally i think jones is gone unless zumaya is hurt bad.

I hate Todd Jones.

I dont know what any baseball team could possibly see in him.

It just blows my mind how he can lose such big leads.

I think that rodney will become the new closer.

But I don't think we will ever trade Jones.

Rodney sure didn't look like a closer today. I just don't see him holding onto the job long. It'll be old faithful, TJ before you can say "and Rodney walks the bases loaded".

Jonsey is 40. He's done well this season but since he blew that lead against the Rockies he's had problems. The Tigers don't have anyone else. I have no use for Rodney. Zumaya is alwasy getting hurt. They need to quit fooling around and get themselves a closer.
