Toddler friendly restaurants - Aix En Provence?

I am travelling to Aix en Provence with my daughter, 2 years old, and I am interested in child friendly restaurants.

Do you know any? Do you know if most of the restaurants can offer a baby/toddler chair?

To be honest, French restaurants don't really do the "kiddie" thing. There aren't any Chuck-E-Cheez's. The closest thing is McDonald's and Hippo which is a normal restaurant, well adapted to kids. We do find them expensive.

Children are welcomed into pretty much any restaurant in France. Only the most expensive posh places might frown upon this. We take our kids pretty much anywhere we want to eat and often they aren't the only ones.

There are usually have high chairs and will do special requests and/or heat something up for you. Bring something to keep her occupied but I'm surprised how often they do have something for mine.

I would suggest showing up either right when they open, about 7pm or for dinner, or 12 for lunch. I have also shown up with offspring at 1:30, before they close the kitchen. That way, if anyone does object, they can more easily reseat or pay and leave. This is also a secret to getting more attention from the waiters.

Once in the South of France, we were eating in a nice restaurant with my toddler. An American couple came in and groused about it. They didn't realize I'm American and could understand (my husband's French and can't speak English). They really objected to the attention the waiter gave us. I wanted to tell them that yes, this is culturally accepted in France.

When I go to the States, I only go to "kid-friendly" restaurants. If you don't, people complain but not here in France. Eat where you want and enjoy!
