Toddler is constipated?

My two year old has been having little hardish balls in her diaper (sorry for the graphic-ness) lol What should I give her to help?

  1. Try Pedialyte - he may be dehydrated.


  2. prune juice helps alot, or raisins, any fruit juice, wholemeal bread, fibreous breakfast cereals, lots to drink.

  3. Something with fiber. Maybe a cereal with a large amount of it.

  4. Call your pediatrician...that is to young for some adult over the counter stuff.

  5. They make Benefiber for Kids.  I would suggest giving about a half teaspoon about 2 times a day for about a week then increase it to 3 times a day.  If that doesn't do the trick increase it to one teaspoon three times a day.

    It's basically fiber so you can't really overdose on it.  I add it to my daughters milk and juice.  She even sees me add it and doesn't mind.

    But yes, milk dud poos are gross.
