  1. When I was little I was that way also. The kids I babysat did the thing after an hour or so they would warm up and want to play and talk. Sometimes adults do the same thing we grow out of it mostly but we all have awkward moments.

  2. He sounds shy, I have a 2 yr old that is very shy around ppl she doesn't know. It takes time for them to open up, don't rush it he will get there in his own time.

Going out to playgroups can help him open up a little bit easier. What you need to know though is that if you rush him he will stay in his shell. If you decide to use playgroups etc play with him & include other children to make the transition easier.

  3. i wouldnt really worry about it too much because a lot of kids are shy, especially toddlers and grow out of it when they get a little older. My little sister was the same way when she was younger. She was very shy when she was a toddler but then when she got a little older she was more outgoing.

  4. well it could be that ur toddler was just born shy or osomething

  5. yes that is totally normal

i have a 3 year old sister who can be shy SOMETIMES, she wants me to come play with her

but usually she is very outgoing and girly and sassy

don't worry, TONS of kids are shyer than that :)
