my neighbors son gets bald spots on his head in big patches... and he seems to always be sick.... the same hacking cough every time... the mother of this boy just thinks it's just "daycare germs" and that is why he keeps getting sick... and according to her the pediatrition isnt concerned about his hair loss..... could this be alopecia areata??? and can alopecia areata cause a person to be sick all the time? I want to find out if his sickness and bald spots could be linked.... and if anyone has any idea what might be causing it.... so i can tell her to look into it... her son is almost 2 years old.

  1. Being in daycare children generally have a better immune system as they get used to the germs. I would suggest she see another doctor, as if my 2 were always sick, Id be a worried mess

  2. strange..... you would think that if your 2 year old child was always sick and losing hair, that you would take them to the doctor and demand an answer.

I dont lose my hair from 'work germs'...... keep your kids away!

  3. That happened to me when i was little. I was fine and we dont know why i lost all my hair. Could she be purposly poisoning him? I know it sounds stupid but it could be true, especially if she hasnt taken him to the doctor.
